Our Chafee ring is named afterJudith Chafee, a Tucson based architect that embraced “regionalism” in architecture, an approach that responds to local cultures, geography and climate.
Her light filled spaces have distinct characteristics of modernism with the use of geometry and exposed structural elements. While designing the Chaffee Ring, I was influenced by the blending of line and space, much like the architecture of Judith Chafee.
When you look down at my Chafee ring, it’s like a little piece of architecture in gold.
